I’m Dana – an NYC-based UX/UI designer, art director, and animator.

I’m currently a Staff Experience Designer on the AI Imaging team at Adobe, leading end-to-end design for Photoshop's AI-first experiences and empowering users to create in previously unimagined ways. I played a key role in launching Photoshops' first generative AI features – named one of TIME Magazine's "200 Best Inventions of 2023" – and hold several pending patents. I'm actively developing the next generation of Adobe's AI and machine learning tools while influencing Photoshop's market strategy through AI vision sprints, evolving and executing on the product vision.

I began my career as a designer/animator with MTV’s Brand Creative Group, then joined the Creative Shop at Meta (Facebook + Instagram), where I led design and animation strategies exploring new creative possibilities driven by emerging product and platform behaviors.

Outside of work, I mentor designers through ADPList (book a free session here!) and have served as a design panelist at several conferences, guest speaker at top design schools like Pratt and Parsons, and judge for AI-focused competitions including the ADC Awards and Designpreneur's AI Design Hackathon. I'm also a digital illustrator, specializing in athlete portraits with commissions from some of the biggest names in pro sports, including the NY Jets and Seattle Seahawks (@dj.draw).
