I’m Dana – an NYC-based Staff Product Designer at Adobe, where I design generative AI features for Photoshop and help shape the product’s direction. I also teach a graduate course at Parsons School of Design.

I played a key role in launching Photoshop’s first generative AI features (Generative Fill and Generative Expand), which landed a spot on TIME’s Best Inventions of 2023. My work at Adobe has earned multiple patents. Lately, I’ve been leading design on Relight, Distraction removal, and the design system for generative credits.

I began my career as a designer/animator with MTV’s Brand Creative Group, then joined Meta’s Creative Shop as a Design Lead, working across Facebook and Instagram on new product and platform experiences.

I enjoy mentoring designers through ADPList (book a session here!), regularly speak at AI and design events, and guest lecture at schools like Pratt and NYU. I’ve also judged AI-focused competitions, including the ADC Awards and various hackathons.

Outside of work, I eat too many sour Starbursts and am a digital illustrator (@dj.draw) known for athlete and artist portraits, with commissions from the NY Jets and Seattle Seahawks.
